Virginia, an eighth grader, used to miss weeks of school to help care for her younger siblings. After joining Encore for Humanity’s Classroom Support and Empowerment Program, she received the materials and encouragement she needed to return. Today, her mother prepares daily meals for hundreds of children as a Food Mama, while Virginia attends class consistently—determined to build a better future for her family.
